SpinningTool is designed so that many core features can be used without creating an account. When you use a wheel anonymously, some information such as your current wheel configuration, preferences or recent results may be stored locally in your browser using local storage. This allows the site to remember useful settings without requiring cloud storage. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google provides basic account information required to identify your SpinningTool account, such as your verified email address and profile information made available through the authorized sign-in process. SpinningTool does not need access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or other unrelated Google services for normal authentication. Signed-in users may save wheels, upload permitted images, create public or private wheels, follow creators, use favorites and access account features. Information needed to provide these features may be stored in the SpinningTool database. Wheel visibility can vary. Private wheels are intended for the owner, unlisted wheels can be accessed by people who receive the URL, and public wheels may be visible to other users and shared more broadly. Uploaded images are subject to file type, size and security restrictions. Users should not upload confidential, unlawful or copyrighted material unless they have the right to use it. SpinningTool uses reasonable technical and security measures to protect account and application data. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users should never send passwords, database credentials, OAuth client secrets or other sensitive authentication information through public forms or wheel content. SpinningTool keeps the interactive wheel separate from account features. You can make ordinary random choices without signing in, while optional account features are available when you want to save, publish, organize or share a wheel across devices.
